The College Board CLEP® exams were developed to give students a chance to demonstrate proficiency and earn college credit for the stuff they already know. Each CLEP exam costs a small fraction of the tuition fees for the corresponding college course, saving you some time but more importantly reducing the cost of earning your college degree.

The College Board recently published the 2018 version of their official study guide containing sample test questions for every CLEP exam. The practice questions in these exam guides give students an example of how exam questions are structured and indicate the topics you need to review in order to be well prepared for the exam. There are 60 sample test questions in the 2018 CLEP Calculus Examination Guide but only the multiple choice answers are provided. so you won't know how to correctly solve the ones you don't understand. This guide explains how to solve these practice test questions so that you can use the exam guide as a study aid. A total of 10 questions have been changed from the 2017 edition (plus 2 questions moved from section 2 to section 1). Here is the approximate distribution of questions on the exam:

• 10% – Limits
• 50% – Differential Calculus
• 40% – Integral Calculus

To avoid violating the College Board's copyright, the actual sample test questions are NOT included in our solutions.
