Cancellations, Returns and Refunds
Cancelling Orders
We typically prepare and ship orders within two (2) business days. Orders that have not yet been shipped can be cancelled for a refund minus the non-refundable $0.30 convenience fee charged by our merchant to process the original payment. We can cancel your order even if the shipping label has been generated and the tracking info updated, as long as your package has not been picked up by the mail carrier. Once a package has been picked up, that order is no longer eligible for cancellation. You may however request a return.
Returning Goods
Please take the time to ensure that you are purchasing the correct book for your needs. We are a print on demand company which means that we do not maintain a stock of books and that the book(s) you receive are specifically printed for you once you submit your order. As such, we do accept returns but with a restocking fee of 20%. Books must be returned in their original condition and properly repackaged. Buyer pays return shipping and the original cost of shipping is non-refundable. If you need to return a book, you must use the contact us form to initiate your request. In the subject line, please include the Order ID and/or Invoice Number which can be found on your invoice online and at the top right corner of the packing slip that was included in your package. If you cannot locate this number, please make sure to mention the same name that was used to complete the purchase so that we may locate your order. Return requests must be submitted within five (5) days of delivery to you. No refunds will be issued on books that have been kept longer than 5 days. Once you have initiated your request and we have authorized your return, please ship within two (2) business days and provide us with the tracking information. Your return request becomes invalid if the package is not shipped within 2 days and received at our provided mailing address within 30 days.
Our materials are copyrighted. We reserve the right to refuse refund or charge a higher restocking fee for books that show obvious signs of use. We may persecute anyone who attempts to return books that have been altered, copied and/or redistributed or who violate our copyright in any way. Exchanging Goods
If you purchased the wrong book, you may request an exchange within five (5) days of delivery to you. Materials must be returned in their original condition and you will be required to pay the full cost of return shipping as well as the full cost of shipping the correct materials to you. If the cost of the correct book is higher than the cost of the one you ordered, you will be required to pay the difference before we mail the correct book. If there is something wrong with the book that you received, i.e. it is missing pages etc., please contact us so that we may exchange the book.
Refund on Goods
If you are authorized for a cancellation, your refund will be processed within 24 hours. If you returned an item to us, your refund will be processed within 48 hours of receipt and inspection of goods. Refunds will be initiated using the original form of payment.
Refund on Services
There is no refund on payments received for solution services or digital downloads. If you've prepaid for tutoring services and no longer require these services, you may receive a refund for the balance remaining on your account minus the cost of your next session if this session was scheduled for less than 24 hours in the future. You may cancel any tutoring session with at least 24 hours advanced notice and receive a full refund. Sessions cancelled with less than 24-hour notice may be subject to up to a 50% cancellation fee as we still need to pay our tutors for their time.
