The College-Level Examination Program® (CLEP®), sponsored by the College Board, was developed so that students enrolling in college can get a chance to earn credits for material they may have already learned. Taking the CLEP is only a fraction of the cost of taking the corresponding college course so you can save money and accelerate your progress towards graduation and earning your degree.

Every year, the College Board updates the sample test questions for every CLEP exam so that students know what to expect and what to review in order to be prepared for the exam. There are 55 sample test questions in the 2014 CLEP Pre-Calculus Examination Guide but only the letter MC answers are provided so you won't know how to correctly solve the ones you got wrong while practicing. This pdf booklet is to be used as a supplement to the exam guide. It provides the step-by-step worked solutions to all the practice test questions.

In deference to the College Board's copyright, the actual exam guide practice test questions are NOT included. If you need the original questions, they can be found in the comprehensive 2014 CLEP Official Study Guide which may still be available for checkout at your local public library. If you plan on taking more than one CLEP exam, the Official Study Guide is more economical.
